Can You Drive after Surgery?

Image
One of the frequently asked questions regarding plastic surgery is whether patients are allowed to drive after the plastic surgery. Is it okay to drive oneself right after receiving plastic surgery? It is recommended that you not drive after surgery. Even though you feel conscious and fine after the IV sedation, you will still be in a semiconscious state.  This is the reason why it is better to use public transportation on the day of surgery. Alternatively, you should have someone accompany you on the way home.

Bumpy Skin after Liposuction

Image
When you have exercised regularly but failed to burn stubborn fats, liposuction may be a good option.  Clients who underwent liposuction at other clinics often ask us if it is normal for the skin to be bumpy and uneven after liposuction. The skin might get uneven or bumpy after the procedure when a surgeon removes more fat than required. This is always the case.  Therefore, it depends on the experience and professionalism of the surgeon performing the surgery. The important thing is that you have a consultation and undergo the liposuction treatment only with a board-certified surgeon with an ample amount of experience. As a result, the risk of potential side effects reduces greatly. To maintain the result of the procedure, we recommend that you wear a compression garment and follow the post-surgery instructions at home.

Language, a Crucial Factor in Medical Tourism

Image
When planning surgery in a foreign country, the most concerning aspect is indeed the language. There is nothing you can do if you can't communicate effectively. It would be frustrating and unsettling to travel a long way only to have your words not properly understood. Therefore, when considering medical tourism, it is essential to make sure that there is an interpreter available at the hospital where you will undergo surgery. Medical knowledge is complex, and medical terminology is not easy to understand. If there is no interpreter who can accurately convey surgical information, problems or conflicts can arise. There are limitations when the interpreter does not have good medical knowledge. The same applies even after a successful surgery when you have returned to your home country. It's important that you can reach the clinic’s staff any time. If there is no interpreter available at the hospital, it can be challenging to resolve any post-surgery concerns or doubts. At She’s P

Can Wrinkles Around the Eyes Be Removed with Lower Blepharoplasty?

Image
Lower blepharoplasty is effective in removing wrinkles under the eyes. You may wonder whether lower blepharoplasty can help improve the appearance of fine lines around the eyes while removing under-eye wrinkles. So is this possible?  Fine lines around the eyes cannot be significantly improved after a lower blepharoplasty.  Lower blepharoplasty involves making a long incision under the eyelashes to remove the sagging skin and fat. At the same time, the inner tissues around the eyes are anchored to the orbital bone. This surgery is necessary for improving under-eye wrinkles and addressing complex under-eye fat issues. Thin wrinkles around the eyes can be improved with Botox, while deeper wrinkles can benefit from a combination of Botox and filler treatments.

About Filler and Botox

Image
Dermal filler and Botox are procedures that many people prefer. However, these two have different ingredients and work in different ways. Dermal fillers are injectables that restore volume and soften wrinkles, with hyaluronic acid being a primary ingredient. On the other hand, Botox is an injectable that temporarily paralyzes muscles to reduce wrinkles, with botulinum toxin as the active ingredient. Fillers are used to restore volume and enhance skin elasticity, while Botox is used to inhibit muscle contractions and reduce wrinkles. Although fillers and Botox have different ingredients and roles, they can be used together for better results. In other words, it is possible to combine filler and Botox treatments. In many cases, both procedures may be necessary depending on the situation. At She’s Plastic Surgery, we only use safe and certified injectables for procedures. Thank you.

Can You Keep Getting Nose Filler Forever?

Image
When you want to raise your nose bridge easily, nose bridge filler injection is the ideal choice.  The effects of nose bridge filler can last from 1 to 2 years depending on the product used. Once this period is over, the filler will be completely absorbed.  Can you get a repeat filler injection after the filler has been completely absorbed?  It is perfectly fine to continue getting nose bridge filler injection at regular intervals. However, if there is still filler remaining on the nose bridge, it is advisable to adjust the amount of filler injected. Overfilling can lead to surface irregularities. Safe fillers are absorbed by the body within 1 to 2 years. If you think it is such a hassle to keep visiting the clinic multiple times for repeat injections, we would recommend silicone implants.

Why You Should not Apply Hot or Cold Compresses After a Fat Grafting
