Who should avoid Fraxel laser treatment?

Image
Fraxel laser is considered to be one of the most effective laser treatments to improve fine lines, acne scars, post-acne pigmentation, skin tone, and texture, lighten the age spots, sun damage, and many other skin issues. However, Fraxel laser has limitations and is not recommended for people with certain skin conditions. They are as follows. It is better to avoid the Fraxel treatment for those who: have very sensitive skin have active acne have moderate or serious rosacea have eczema have dark skin tones because Fraxel can exacerbate the pigmentation.   If one of these conditions above applies to you, it is better to consult with a board-certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon before the procedure.

Improve the effect of Fraxel laser

If you have irregular skin texture, enlarged pores, and post-acne, you may be a good candidate for a fractional laser treatment. Fraxel retextures the skin, tightens and improves skin quality. The combination of Fraxel and PRP creates a great healing and rejuvenating effect. Fraxel laser makes small skin injuries that stimulate the accelerated healing process. The new skin cells replace the old ones due to collagen and elastin production. When used in conjunction with PRP, it gives a synergistic rejuvenating effect by giving a fast recovery process. PRP (Platelet-rich plasma) has a healing power on the skin due to the regeneration of skin cells. 3 to 5 sessions are recommended with an interval of 3 weeks. Your skin will gradually improve and the treatment will give you long-lasting results.  More about Fraxel
