Upper blepharoplasty is effective in fixing droopy eyelids due to skin aging.


However, some of our customers who have double eyelids wonder if their double eyelids could be maintained during an upper blepharoplasty, or if the upper blepharoplasty should be combined with a double eyelid incisional surgery. 


Can your double eyelids be maintained during an upper blepharoplasty?



If you have double eyelids, the droopy eyelids and excess fat can be removed through incisions made along your eyelid crease during surgery.


There is no need to create new eyelid creases.



However, your eyes may appear unnatural for a while after surgery due to the incisions made along the crease. They will become more natural within 3 to 4 weeks.
