Can You Drive after Surgery?

One of the frequently asked questions regarding plastic surgery is whether patients are allowed to drive after the plastic surgery. Is it okay to drive oneself right after receiving plastic surgery?



It is recommended that you not drive after surgery. Even though you feel conscious and fine after the IV sedation, you will still be in a semiconscious state. 


This is the reason why it is better to use public transportation on the day of surgery. Alternatively, you should have someone accompany you on the way home.
