Forehead fat transfer

Image
Forehead fat grafting is a surgical procedure that helps to add volume to the forehead area. Apart from this, it removes forehead wrinkles and makes it look aesthetically beautiful. Fat grafting is a long-lasting treatment that has a long lifespan compared to dermal fillers. It is completely safe and prevents allergic reactions due to the fact the no foreign materials are injected into the face. Fat grafting is not a highly invasive procedure. The procedure includes the suction of fat from the thigh area. The fat is then cleansed and healthy fat cells are prepared for the fat transfer. The purified fat is injected into the treatment area that needs correction. You can see the results right after the treatment. However, 1-2 weeks after the treatment there may be slight swelling and bruising. The deposited fat has a rejuvenating effect on the skin. This means that the overall quality of the skin will be improved in the areas of treatment.  You will have to come for the subsequent follo

How to take care of your skin?

Image
Do you know how to take care of your skin? What does it mean to take care of the skin in the first place?     If you know the answers to these two questions above, then you do not need to read the rest of this post. However, if you would like to know more, you can keep reading it.     First of all, I am not going to write or reveal something that will dramatically change your skin. The reason is that every person is different, and everyone needs their appropriate skincare routine that will match their skin type.     Regardless of your skin type and skin problems, daily and the most basic skincare routine consists of 4 steps:  Cleansing, Application of toners or serums, Moisturizing, and Sunscreen. Step 1 Cleansing. It is necessary to wash the face twice a day: in the morning and the evening. Cleansing helps remove skin impurities and sebum.     If you sleep wearing make-up or without washing up the face, the skin produces more sebum and clogs the pores with dirt.     When it comes to

What you need to know about Mesobotox

Image
Are you looking for a minimally invasive procedure to improve fine lines or wrinkles? Then Mesobotox can be a good choice.     Before we dive into the effect of Mesbotox, let us look at the definition of Mesobotox and how it differs from Botox injections.     Mesobotox, also known as micro botox or baby Botox is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure helping reduce fine lines, wrinkles and improve the general skin condition. As a result, you look younger, and your skin becomes much smoother and healthier.     Many people think that Mesobotox and Botox are the same procedure. Despite some similarities, mesobotox and botox are two different procedures.     The difference is that Botox is injected onto the muscles to prevent them from moving, while Mesobotox is applied onto the skin surface, not the muscle. Botulinum toxin is used in both procedures. However, the doctor uses micro-needles while injecting the Mesobotox.     You can notice the result of Mesobotox after some time (after 3

Get rid of uneven skin texture

Image
Sometimes people face issues like uneven skin texture. Simply put, they don’t have that smoothness of the skin. Whenever you touch your skin, you may feel roughness and dullness of skin. This may be due to either sun exposure, dead skin cells, or acne scars. What you need to do is to improve skin texture by boosting collagen production since collagen is a protein that makes your skin looks young and smooth.  In this article, I will introduce a micro-needling treatment that can improve your skin texture, make it look even and healthy. Infini is a micro-needling radiofrequency skin laser that can improve skin texture, reduce wrinkles and tighten pores. It also can effectively improve acne scarring. The main focus of Infini is to stimulate collagen production at an exact depth of 1.5-2.5 mm depending on the skin condition. The device consists of 49 gold-plated needles. These tips of the needles transmit the energy from the device to the dermal skin layer. The micro needling encourages t

Botox or Mesobotox?

Image
Mesobotox is a cosmetic treatment that can improve your skin elasticity, reduce wrinkles and fine lines. Mesobotox is the injection of small doses of Botox that is injected into the superficial layer of the skin. However, you may wonder what is the difference between Mesobotox and traditional Botox injection? In this article, I will explain more about the difference between Botox and Mesobotox. One of the major differences between Botox and Mesobotox is that Mesobotox doesn’t remove wrinkles caused by muscle contractions. The Botox temporarily paralyzes the muscle and smoothes out the wrinkled area. In contrast, Mesobotox is injected higher in the skin. This technique not only improves skin elasticity but tightens and reduces pores. Mesobotox doesn’t freeze the skin and doesn’t prevent facial movements. Mesobotox can be mixed with meso injections like Chanel and Rejuran Healer to improve your skin quality, deliver vitamins, minerals, and amino acids deep into your skin. As a result,

Summer and hyperhidrosis

Image
The weather is getting hotter and hotter these days. The only thing that bothers most people in summer is sweating.     Medically speaking, excessive sweating in a particular part of the body is called hyperhidrosis. It is a normal phenomenon to sweat in summer because of the hot weather.     However, if you notice more excessive sweating than others, it is better to consult with a doctor and take steps to correct that.     Sometimes, too much sweating can cause discomfort to other people because of its smell. That is why many people struggle with this problem and want to get rid of it.     It is said that it is hard to fully cure hyperhidrosis. However, Botox can be a temporary treatment for abnormal treatment.     Botox injection is applied to the area of excessive sweating. By doing this, sweat production can be blocked. In 3~4 days after the Botox injection, one notices the amount of sweating decrease, and the effect lasts for 3~4 months.     Botox for sweating is a simple proc

Acquire confidence in healthy and glowing skin

These days many of us struggle with the common skin problem. That is skin blemishes. We almost do not wear make-up because of the masks.     As a result, when we take a mask off, skincare flaws cannot draw our attention.     As for me, skin blemishes have become one of my main concerns since the COVID pandemic. Even when I try to cover them with make-up, they are still visible. Are there any ways to remove or treat them?     The solution for skin blemishes is IPL, known as an Intense pulsed laser.     IPL is a type of laser that whitens and lightens the skin tone. By using different wavelengths, IPL simultaneously improves pigmentation, pores, fine lines.   The procedure is safe and does not leave any marks or redness on the skin. After the procedures, there might appear a scab on the skin, but with time, it falls off, and the pigmentation gets lighter.     One can repeat IPL with a 3-week interval. For efficacy, it is important to have five sessions of IPL.     With the appropriate

How to treat triple eyelids?

Image
If the name “triple eyelids” sounds unfamiliar to you, then keep reading. In this post, I will explain what triple eyelids are and how to treat them.     Most of you know about double eyelids. It is when upper eyelids have one fold or a crease. When it comes to triple eyelids, the upper eyelids have two folds.     Why do triple eyelids appear? Many factors are causing triple eyelids. The fundamental cause is the aging process, which is loss or decreasing skin elasticity and weakening muscle tissues. What are the treatment options for the triple eyelids? Triple eyelid folds do not disappear on their own. Therefore, there are several different methods available to improve them.     One of the most effective methods is blepharoplasty. In this method, a plastic surgeon removes excess skin and lifts the sagging skin.     The second option to treat triple eyelids would be brow lift. The doctor makes a small incision under the brows. Then, he or she lifts the brows.     Usually, for a lon

Reduce your pigmentation with Laser toning

Image
The UV ray's exposure, environmental factors, and age can negatively impact skin quality. This can lead to uneven skin tone and the appearance of pigmentation and freckles. You have certainly heard about many laser treatments but which one would be worth investing in? One of the great investments for skin treatment is Laser Toning. This is a laser that is non-ablative, it works without damaging the skin surface. It makes skin tone look brighter and helps to reduce pigmentation patches. The treatment breaks up pigments that are turned into small pieces.  In comparison to IPL treatment, Laser Toning goes much penetrates deeper underneath the skin to scatter the melanin. Generally, you will need 5-10 sessions spaced out 1 week apart. You won’t have a recovery period after the treatment. However, we recommend you apply sunscreen often because prolonged sun exposure may lead to the appearance of dark spots.  More about Laser Ton ing

Which anesthesia should I undergo during the surgery?

Image
When a person undergoes plastic surgery, he or she is administered anesthesia. However, one of the most frequent questions we get “Is it possible to conduct plastic surgery under general anesthesia?”     The majority of plastic surgeries are done under IV sedation and local anesthesia. There are two main reasons for that.     The first reason is for the sake of the creation of a precise design. When it comes to blepharoplasty, the surgeon may ask the patient to open or close the eyes.   It will help the surgeon to ensure if the lines are similar and right. The same approach applies to other surgeries such as rhinoplasty.     The second reason is safety. An excessive amount of anesthesia, vice versa, may cause side effects resulting in conditions bad for the patient’s health.     It is crucial to bear in mind that safety is as important as the result of plastic surgery. Therefore, IV sedation and local anesthesia would be the safest and best options for better results.

When can I have a revision eyelid surgery?

Image
Sometimes, customers find the line of double eyelids a bit different than they expected. For example, the double eyelid line can look too thick or too thin (almost invisible).     In such situations, they opt for revision eyelid surgery.     An eyelid revision surgery can be performed six months after the previous surgery. Why six months? During six months, the surgery site becomes softer and recovers fully. This enables the surgeon to perform the revision with ease.     However, it does not mean that anyone who underwent the surgery can have revision surgery after six months. Since every person is different, so is the recovery time.     Therefore, whether one can undergo a revision surgery must be discussed only with a board-certified plastic surgeon.     He or she can examine and recommend whether it is okay to go ahead with the surgery or wait for some more time.     Lastly, the most important thing to remember is that revision surgery usually requires a more delicate and careful

General or Local anesthesia?

Image
Recently we had a customer who asked about anesthesia. That patient has had general anesthesia because of another surgery. Is it okay to have anesthesia again even if the little time passed?     The answer is Yes. You can have the surgery even if you had previous experience of anesthesia.     The doctor administers local anesthesia with IV sedation during rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, and wrinkle-removing surgeries.   The only appropriate amount of anesthesia is administered to prevent any potential side effects of the anesthesia.     Therefore, there is no need to worry much about the anesthesia.
