Is it ok if the back of ear is convex after Facelift?

Image
Facelift is effective in removing overall facial wrinkles.   The incision starts from the area above the ear and goes along the front to the back of the ear.  However, some people ask why in some cases the back of the ear becomes convex after surgery.  Is it ok for the back of the ear to stay convex? When will it be okay? After the facelift, the back of the ear may become temporarily convex and hard.  In addition, it happens not only after a Face lift but other surgeries where the incision is made. This will improve over time. It's not something to be very concerned about.  However, if the back of the ear is severely swollen or gets red, it is recommended to consult directly with the surgeon.  It can be improved with prescribed medicine. #shesplasticsurgery #busanplasticsurgery #nampodong #busan #wrinkles #facelift

What is ear pinning surgery?

Image
Many people feel self-conscious because of prominent ears. Prominent ears are ears that usually stick out. Though they don’t cause functional problems such as hearing, they cause much stress for some patients. Ear pinning is a surgical method of decreasing the projection of ears to improve appearance.         Ear pinning involves the incision that is made behind the ears. The ears then shaped with sutures to fold a new shape. This procedure can be performed on both ears. However, if you have only one protruding ear, the surgery can be performed on one ear. This surgery usually takes around 1-1 and a half hours to complete.     The stitches are removed 1 week after the operation. Though you may have slight swelling, redness, and numbness, it will gradually go away within 2-3 weeks.     More about Ear pinning surgery
