Stop Sweating Hands and Armpits with Botox

In summer, you may notice excessive sweating in your hands and armpits.  Excessive sweating can be treated with Botox.  To stop excessive sweating (or Hyperhidrosis) in some areas such as armpits, hands, and feet, botulinum toxin is injected into the area to temporarily block sweat glands.   3-4 days after the treatment, you will notice that the sweating is reduced. The result is maintained for about 3 to 4 months. You can return to normal activities immediately after the procedure. However, it is recommended not to allow the treated area to come into contact with water for 1 day after the procedure. Also, remember to refrain from hot baths and saunas as well as strenuous exercises that make you sweat a lot for 1 week after the treatment.
