Botox for Hyperhidrosis

The weather is getting hotter and hotter these days, which makes me concerned about one thing. Excessive sweating.

There must be many people who are concerned about hyperhidrosis like me. Hyperhidrosis refers to excessive sweating in a particular part of the body. Sweating in summer is certainly a natural thing.. However, if you notice that you are sweating much more than others, causing you troubles in daily activities, you possibly have hyperhidrosis. My hands and feet sweat a lot during the year, especially in summer, which is a great concern to me.

Sometimes, excessive sweating can make surrounding people uncomfortable because of the smell. That is why many people who are struggling with hyperhidrosis feel even more stressful when summer comes.

It is hard to fully treat hyperhidrosis. However, Botox can be an effective way to control it. Botox is injected into the area of excessive sweating, turning off the sweat glands. In 3~4 days after the Botox injection, you can notice the result and the effect lasts for around 3~4 months.

Botox for sweating is a simple procedure with no downtime. It is advisable to avoid vigorous exercises, hot baths, and sauna for about a week after the injection. Also, you can take a shower 3 hours after the procedure. Remember that when you follow all the post-procedure instructions, the result lasts longer.

To those who are suffering from hyperhidrosis like me, Botox is not just an option but a must. For Botox is a simple treatment but can improve our life quality.
