Facelift recovery made easier with Dermabond.

One of the main concerns patients have after a facelift is the recovery period. This is especially important for international patients who travel to Korea for a limited stay.

At SHE’S Plastic Surgery Clinic, we use Dermabond, a medical skin adhesive that, in selected cases, can help shorten the post-operative treatment period.




How does the aftercare work?

On the 3rd day after surgery, the doctor carefully removes the stitches and applies Dermabond to the incision area.

The adhesive helps protect the incision and gradually peels away naturally over approximately 2 weeks.

When Dermabond is used, showering may be allowed from the following day, according to the doctor’s instructions.

After the main post-operative care is completed on the 3rd day, some patients may not need to visit the clinic every day. This can be especially convenient for international patients with a limited stay in Korea.

If you have enough time to stay in Korea, your doctor may recommend a longer follow-up period to ensure a comfortable and safe recovery.
