Potenza Treatment: Who Is It Suitable For and What Results Can You Expect?
Potenza is a microneedling radiofrequency (RF) treatment that delivers controlled RF energy into the deeper layers of the dermis. It is designed to address multiple skin concerns simultaneously, including enlarged pores, fine lines, uneven skin texture, and loss of firmness.
During the procedure, thermal energy is delivered deep into the skin through ultra-fine microneedles. This process softens damaged collagen structures and stimulates the production of new, dense collagen, helping to rebuild and strengthen the skin from within.
Enlarged pores and old scars are often anchored by dense fibrous bands in the deeper layers of the skin. Potenza targets these deep attachments, gently loosening the fibrotic tissue and stimulating new tissue formation above it. As a result, the skin becomes smoother not by pushing the surface upward, but by restoring its internal structure.
Immediately after the treatment, patients may notice mild tightening and improved skin texture. More visible results typically appear within 2–4 weeks and continue to improve gradually over time. For longer-lasting and more stable results, a course of three treatments at intervals of 3–4 weeks is recommended.
Post-Treatment Care
For several days after the procedure, it is advised to avoid:
1. aggressive cleansing and exfoliation
2. saunas and steam rooms
3. intense physical activity
Focus on soothing and hydrating skincare, and ensure consistent use of sun protection.
Products containing retinol or active vitamin ingredients are designed to stimulate skin renewal through mild irritation. Therefore, it is recommended to temporarily discontinue their use after the procedure.
