Mid-face lift and full facelift.
Mid-face lift and full facelift are surgical rejuvenation methods designed to address wrinkles and signs of aging, but they differ in their target areas and the results they provide.
The mid-face lift focuses on the central area of the face — under the eyes, the front of the cheeks, and the nasolabial folds. It is especially suitable for those concerned about under-eye wrinkles, sagging cheeks, and deepening smile lines that appear with age. During the procedure, the skin in these areas is lifted and anchored to the bone (periosteum), often in combination with lower eyelid surgery (lower blepharoplasty).
The full facelift is the most effective option for correcting age-related changes across the entire face. The incision begins in the hairline above the ear, continues along the front of the ear, and ends behind it. Not only the skin but also the SMAS (superficial musculoaponeurotic system) layer is lifted and secured in an anatomically ideal position, providing long-lasting and natural-looking results.
If you're mainly concerned with a specific area of the face, a mid-face lift may be the right choice.
For a more dramatic and comprehensive rejuvenation, we recommend the full facelift.
