Is it possible to undergo additional procedures after Botox for a square jaw?

Sometimes patients come to us after receiving Botox injections for jawline slimming (often referred to as treating a “square jaw”) at another clinic, but they didn’t see noticeable results.

They often ask whether it’s possible to undergo an additional treatment, similar to how filler procedures.

So, can you receive a second Botox treatment after the initial injection into the masseter muscles?

When genuine products are used in the correct dosage, Botox typically does not require touch-up treatments.

The effects of masseter Botox usually start to appear within 2–3 weeks after the procedure.
The jawline gradually becomes slimmer and more defined,
and it's normal to experience a slight feeling of tightness or heaviness in the treated area.

This sensation can vary from person to person.
However, clenching your teeth to "check" the effect is not recommended, as it doesn’t enhance the results.

To ensure a safe and effective outcome, it’s important to have the procedure performed using authentic Botox, in the appropriate dosage, by an experienced plastic surgeon.

The duration of the results depends on the product used but on average, the effect lasts up to 6 months.
