When can laser treatments be performed after eye surgery?

Patients often ask when it is safe to start laser procedures after surgeries such as double eyelid creation, upper and lower blepharoplasty, and other eye surgeries.




Laser treatments can be performed 2–3 weeks after the removal of stitches following eye surgery.

If laser treatment is done before the 2–3 week period after eye surgery, there is a risk of inflammation.

Considering the time required for healing and recovery, it is recommended to wait at least 2–3 weeks after stitch removal before undergoing laser procedures.
