Why Should You Skip the Sauna after Laser Treatment?

We always advise our patients to avoid saunas for about a week after undergoing laser treatment, even though it's a simple procedure. But why?

Well, after laser treatment, your skin is a bit irritated. Even if you can't see any bruises, there are tiny wounds on your skin. Exposing these wounds to high heat, like in a sauna, increases the risk of infection or inflammation.

For optimal results and a smooth recovery, we suggest not using saunas or intense workouts during the first week after laser treatment.
