Can I Have Double Eyelid Surgery Shortly after Forehead Botox?

Many clients express a desire to undergo plastic surgery and other treatments simultaneously. Some wonder if it’s possible to have double eyelid surgery one month after getting forehead Botox injections.

Will getting forehead Botox before a double eyelid surgery affect the surgical outcome?

Forehead Botox is a treatment aimed at improving wrinkles by relaxing the frontalis muscles. After the procedure, you may experience a sensation of heaviness in your eyes, and your eyebrows may sag. This is particularly true for those who have the habit of using frontalis muscles while opening their eyes.

It is advisable to wait for at least 6 months after a forehead Botox injection before considering double eyelid surgery.

Botox typically lasts for 3 to 6 months, depending on the product. Once the Botox effect has subsided, usually after this period, consult with a plastic surgeon before scheduling your double eyelid surgery.
