Can I Get a Thread Lift after a Facelift?

Some patients who have undergone a facelift may notice a slight sagging of their face one year after the surgery and may consider getting a thread lift.

Is it possible to further lift your face with a thread lift even if you are completely satisfied with the results of your facelift?

The answer is yes. If you had a facelift surgery one year ago, you can opt for a thread lift to lift the skin and improve facial skin elasticity.

At She’s Plastic Surgery, we use mesh-type threads called “The Up Threads” for our thread lift procedures. These threads are inserted into the face through a 0.5cm incision, effectively lifting the face.

The dissolvable threads maintain the lifting effects even after they have melted away. Additionally, the incision is closed with three stitches of dissolvable sutures, eliminating the need for any follow-up treatments.

If you find that your skin is slightly sagging some time after your facelift surgery, a thread lift can be an effective solution.

However, a facelift usually provides a satisfactory outcome on its own, and additional procedures are not typically necessary.

If you are considering further procedures, it is advisable to consult with your surgeon before making any decisions.
