Aftercare Instructions for Under-Eye Fat Removal Surgery

Under-eye fat removal surgery is effective in addressing the dullness under the eyes caused by excess under-eye fat.

This procedure involves creating an incision on the inside of the eyelashes, leaving no visible scars. Many patients are curious about specific precautions to observe after the surgery. What should you be aware of post-surgery?

Following under-eye fat removal surgery, it is crucial to avoid bending your upper body for two weeks. Refrain from sudden movements, such as bending down to pick up objects or tying shoelaces, as these actions can lead to increased blood flow to the eyes, resulting in significant swelling in the operated area.

Furthermore, it is advisable to avoid touching or rubbing your eyes after the surgery. For the first two weeks, refrain from wearing contact lenses and applying makeup to facilitate the recovery process. Additionally, using a high pillow and sleeping on your back is recommended.

While under-eye fat removal surgery is a relatively straightforward procedure, it requires careful adherence to precautions for a successful outcome. Ensure that you follow these guidelines meticulously to achieve a satisfactory surgical result.
