Does Fat Grafting Lead to Sagging Skin?
Facial fat grafting is effective in restoring the facial volume naturally.
A question we have received very often from our clients is whether the skin sags overtime following a fat grafting procedure. Is there any possibility that facial fats sag quickly, making you look like an angry person?
The answer is no. Fat transfer in fact has nothing to do with skin sagging.
After fat grafting, the skin may appear bloated and sagged but this is something happens naturally when a lot of fat is injected into the skin. The fat bundled up beneath the skin makes it look loose as if it were aging.
Fat grafting result highly depends on the surgeon’s skills. Therefore, it is advisable to seek consultation with an experienced surgeon before deciding to undergo the procedure.
