Can Laser Toning Remove Hyperpigmentation Completely?

Laser toning is applied to remove spots appearing due to aging or sun damage.

However, many patients wonder if this laser procedure removes all the pigmentation spots entirely.

Laser toning can remove all the pigmentation spots gradually and safely. In order to see a more stable result, the doctor recommends having laser toning regularly. Usually, it is advisable to have 10 sessions at 1-week intervals.

After 10 sessions, blemishes and pigmentation spots might get lighter and almost unnoticeable. However, patients might be asked to repeat the procedure more than 10 times depending on the skin condition and how deep those spots are.

After 10 sessions, you should repeat the treatment once a month in order to maintain skin free of dark spots.
