How to reduce swelling after Blepharoplasty?

Are you struggling with the way how to manage swelling after Double eyelid surgery, Ptosis correction, Lateral canthoplasty, or Blepharoplasty? Taking care of swelling with an ice pack right after surgery will help speed up the recovery process. Usually, large swelling subsides within 2 weeks after surgery and small swelling gradually subsides.

You should apply the ice pack for 2 days right after surgery. Ice pack has the effect of hemostasis reduction on the surgical site and prevention of swelling. Then you need to apply warm packs for a week to reduce swelling by facilitating blood circulation in the surgical area. Proper application of ice packs is the key to reducing swelling after plastic surgery.

Make sure your pack is not too wet or hot. If the compress temperature is too high, there is a risk of burns. It is advised to apply ice and warm packs as often as possible.
