Even though small moles on your face or body may look attractive, many people feel self-conscious about large-sized moles.


How do I remove large or protruding moles? Is it possible to get them removed with a laser?





Small spots can be removed with a laser treatment. However, if the size of the mole is too large or it looks protruding, it is effective to remove it with the help of mole removal surgery.





Mole removal surgery is a surgical procedure through which the mole is excised and sutured. If the size of the mole is too large, it is recommended to undergo the surgery 2 -3 times. A 6 months interval between surgery is advised.


You should apply waterproof tape for about a week after the Mole removal surgery. You need to refrain from hard exercises and avoid going to the sauna for 2-3 weeks after stitches are removed.


The larger the size of the mole, the more visible is a surgical scar on the treatment site. However, it gradually fades with time.
