Does laser toning remove the spots (blemishes) entirely

Laser toning is applied to remove spots appearing due to aging or sun damage. However, many patients wonder if this laser removes all the pigmentation spots entirely.

The answer is no. Laser toning cannot remove all the pigmentation completely. In order to see a safer and more stable result, the doctor recommends having laser toning regularly. Usually, it is recommended to repeat the procedure once a week for about 10 sessions.

After 10 sessions, blemishes and pigmentation spots might get lighter and almost unnoticeable. However, depending on the skin condition and how deep those spots are patients might be asked to repeat the procedure more than 10 times.

Home care is as important as the procedure itself. After receiving laser toning, ensure that you wear sunscreen on a daily basis no matter whether you are indoors or outdoors.
