When can I get a skincare facial after Blepharoplasty?

Our patients often ask if it is possible to start getting skincare facials after Blepharoplasty.


When can I start getting facial treatment after the Blepharoplasty? Can get a massage done around my eyes?





It is possible to get a soft skincare facial 2-3 weeks after Blepharoplasty.


However, you should avoid getting an excessive massage around your eyes.  If you get a strong massage around your eyes, it can cause the incisional site to open.





In case of meridian massage, it is recommended to get it one month after surgery.


It is advisable to consult with plastic surgeon before the treatment and then decide on getting a skincare facial or facial massage treatment.
