Will I have crust after Fraxel treatment?

Fraxel treatment is a treatment that resurfaces the skin, improves skin texture, and stimulates the new skin cells. It is one of a kind treatment that is effective in treating acne scars, melasma, wrinkles, and widened pores. Undoubtedly, Fraxel treatment is effective even after 1 session. But will I have a crust after the treatment?

Since Fraxel heats the surface and deep layers of skin, it stimulates collagen and elastin production. It affects the accelerated healing process. The crusting or scabs can occur on the top layer of your skin for a while after the treatment. You need to wait until the crusts naturally flake off. It can take up to 1 or 2 weeks for the scabs to go away.

After the crusts go off, you may notice the improved skin texture, smooth, radiant, and healthy glow of the skin.  Keep the treated area moisturized to prevent further crusting and accelerate the healing process.
