Is it normal to have asymmetry after under-eye surgery?

Under-eye fat removal surgery is a cosmetic procedure that helps improve and remove under-eye fat by making the lower eyelids look fresh.

However, many clients say that they notice asymmetry in their lower eyelids. Does this mean that the surgery went wrong?

The reason both lower eyelids look asymmetrical is because of swelling. The big swelling comes down in a week, and it takes 2~3 weeks for the natural look.

Therefore, the doctor tells the patients to wait six months for the final result.

After six months, when the swelling subsides, the asymmetry also improves.
