Can I wash my face after mesotherapy treatment?

Mesotherapy is a skin rejuvenation method with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidant solutions. Typically, it is administered with microinjections. If you have your mesotherapy treatment, you may have questions regarding the possibility of washing your face right after the treatment. Is it ok to wash your face?

 

 

 

 

At She's Plastic Surgery, we usually recommend waiting for 12 hours after the treatment to wash your face. Why is it so? Mesotherapy cocktails and serum need to be absorbed and it works best when the pores are open. If you wash your face right after the treatment, you may risk washing away the serum. Therefore, you need to wait to get the best effect from the treatment.

 

 

When you wash your face, use gentle facial cleansers and moisturizers. This will minimize the irritation after the treatment since your skin may be sensitive after the procedure.
