What is blepharoplasty?

 

When people hear the term blepharoplasty, they think of the surgeries that create double eyelids or remove eye wrinkles. That is a narrow definition of this term.

 

 

However, blepharoplasty covers the correction of defects, deformities of the eyelids, and modifying eyelids for aesthetic reasons.

 

 

For the sake of understanding, we classify eyelid surgeries of our clinic into two groups: blepharoplasty and eye wrinkles. We refer to blepharoplasty as procedures designed to modify eyelids.

Anti-aging eyelids procedures are classified as eye wrinkles. With eye wrinkle correction surgeries, the doctor can improve the saggy and drooping eyelids, wrinkles around the eyes.
