Dermal fillers for frown lines
Frown lines are the vertical wrinkles that usually appear between the eyebrows and nose. They are universally called frown lines since they appear when a person frowns due to the movement of muscles. With age, these frown lines get deeper and more prominent. How do you treat this area?
If you have deep wrinkles in between your eyebrows even when you don’t frown, you may need a dermal filler injection. To put it simply, lines at rest need fillers. Specifically, when you have deep wrinkles even if your muscles are not contracting, the best option is filler injection. Hyaluronic acid-based fillers are the safest injections to fill in the frown lines. The most common fillers are Amalian and Juvederm. The effect usually lasts 1 to 2 years depending on the product.
You can wash your face and put on makeup 3 hours after the treatment. You may have mild bruising and swelling for a couple of days on the injection site.
