How to achieve double eyelids?
Have you ever heard about double eyelid surgery? If not, you can find out what double eyelids are and how to create them.
Some people are born with well-defined eyelid creases while others do not have. And that is why we call those kinds of eyelids a single lid or monolid. Not having double eyelids does not affect your health.
Having double eyelids gives you an aesthetic outlook by making your eyes look bigger. That does not mean that everyone should undergo procedures to create them.
People can create double eyelids through a surgery called eyelid surgery or blepharoplasty. Usually, there are two methods to create double eyelids: incisional and non-incisional.
The incisional method involves making a small incision in the upper eyelids. The surgeon removes the excess fat if there is any. Incisions are closed with stitches. The stitch out is after five days. The incisional method suits those with thick skin and excess fat tissues.
The non-incisional method also creates double eyelids. However, this method does not involve any incisions. The surgeon uses the buried suture method to achieve double eyelids. The buried suture method is about making tiny punctures instead of incisions and tightening them with sutures.
If you do not want any scarring, it is a good option to choose a non-incisional method. However, this method is suitable for thin skin and no fat tissues. What is important to know about the non-incisional method is that it is reversible.
It means that double eyelids can turn into single eyelids after a certain time.
