That is because the botulinum toxin injection got such wide popularity all over the world for its high effectiveness against facial wrinkles. What about Skin Botox?  Is it the same injection? Muscles vs. Skin

 

Botox injection targets the deep muscle layer. It is mainly injected with a syringe or cannula. However, Skin Botox or Mesobotox is injected into the superficial skin layer in the form of small and thin injections. The important thing is that Skin botox is not injected into the muscles, but the skin. Therefore it affects the improvement of collagen production and skin rejuvenation.

 

 

 

Expression wrinkles vs. Superficial skin layer

 

Botox targets expression muscles such as forehead lines, frown lines, crow’s feet, and bunny lines.

 

Skin Botox is a highly diluted product in comparison to Botox injection. It can be injected all over the face, and specifically in the wrinkled areas. 

 

 

Botox vs. Skin Botox with Mesoinjections

 

While Botox is not diluted with the Mesoinjection, Skin Botox can be administered together with other Mesotherapy treatments such as Chanel injection and Rejuran Healer to double the effect from the treatment.
