When can I do sports after Blepharoplasty?
If you underwent an Upper or Lower blepharoplasty, you may have wondered when you can return to your exercise routine. Undoubtedly, you need a recovery time to let the incision areas heal completely. Therefore, you need to follow the following guidelines.
Generally, it is advised to abstain from doing sports for 3 weeks after the stitches are removed. This recovery process will let your body naturally heal. You should avoid heavy lifting and doing strenuous activities, as well as doing hardsports for at least 2-3 weeks. If you exercise too much, it can put much pressure and tension on the incisional site of the surgery.
However, you are allowed to do a simple everyday walking routine. If you have any questions concerning the post-operative routine, you need to talk to the doctor and follow his advice.
