Correct lateral skin laxity with Sub-brow lift

Many patients have a common condition of droopy eyelids. One of the most popular plastic surgery techniques is Upper blepharoplasty. However, there is an additional surgery that can improve your eyelids. This is the Sub-brow lift. It mainly improves the lateral skin hooding that makes your double eyelids look more rejuvenated. This is the procedure of choice that is often recommended in combination with Upper Blepharoplasty.

The Sub-brow lift is performed with the help of the incision that is made underneath the eyebrows. The excess skin is removed, and the incisional area is sutured. This method changes the double eyelids look, especially in a lateral area without making any changes to the double eyelids.  The incision is hiding under the eyebrows. Therefore the scar won’t be visible after the operation. If necessary, the doctor will recommend undergoing an Upper or Lower blepharoplasty to improve the overall look of the upper and lower eyelids.

The stitches are typically removed on the 5th day after the surgery. The Sub-brow lift enables brow elevation and makes the eyelids look more natural and contoured.
