What is Laser Liposuction?

 

Laser Lipo is a cosmetic procedure that melts away the fat under the skin with the help of a laser. Sometimes these procedures can also be called laser lipolysis.

 

 

It is a minimally invasive procedure done under local anesthesia. It means that the doctor numbs the procedure area and makes a small incision.

 

 

After he or she melts away the deposits of the fat and with a tiny tube sucks it.

 

 

Since laser lipo involves only a tiny incision, it does not require any specific recovery or downtime.

However, the doctor still recommends avoiding getting involved in strenuous physical exercises for 2~3 weeks.

 

 

Laser lipo is commonly conducted on cheeks and under the chin area. On average, it lasts one hour. But the duration of the procedures depends on the area treated.

 

 

The results from laser lipo may last long and go permanently when a proper diet, exercising, and lifestyle are practiced.
