You can either get a dimple on one cheek or both cheeks depending on your preferences and doctor’s recommendations. The doctor will recommend the dimple form and shape as well as the exact dimple location.  Dimpleplasty is done by placing small stitches inside the cheek areas. The muscles will pull the skin inwards which will create dimples. The stitches are placed inside your cheeks, pulling the underlying muscles.

After the operation, you may have slight swelling and bruising. Moreover, you can have a temporary painful feeling inside your mouth. However, the doctor will prescribe the anesthetic and analgesic medications to relieve pain and swelling.
