Can you drive after the plastic surgery?

We often get questions from the patients asking if it is allowed to drive after the surgery.

 

 

We recommend that one refrain from driving on the surgery day. Therefore, we tell our customers to have someone accompany them. So that would be safer.





The reason we do not recommend driving is because of the anesthesia. Even if the patient recovers fast after the anesthesia, he will still be in a semi-conscious condition.

 

 

That is why it is advisable to use either public transportation or ask one’s friends or acquaintances to assist you to get home after the surgery.
