Breast enlargement

Breast enlargement is a plastic surgery that augments the size of the breasts. A doctor uses an implant to achieve this. Implants are more common than fat being transferred to increase the size.

A doctor makes a 5~7cm incision either underneath the breast crease or in the armpit area. After he inserts an implant.

It is less painful when the implant is inserted through the breast crease. Lastly, the surgeon puts sutures on the incision area.

Breast augmentation is done under general anesthesia. It means that patients will be asleep during the entire surgery procedure. Then, the patient can be moved to a recovery room and become gradually awake and conscious.

The surgery lasts for about 2 hours. After the surgery, one must visit the clinic for a follow-up check-up and treatment for about 10~14 days every other day.

Major swelling subsides within two weeks. However, full recovery takes 2~3 weeks, varying on a person’s general body composition and health conditions.

After the surgery, the doctor recommends wearing wireless bras for at least six months.

Taking care of the incision site and eating all the medications at the prescribed time will expedite the recovery process.

Additionally, one must refrain from highly intense physical exercises.
