Can I unergo Upper and Lower blepharoplasty at the same time?

Our eyelids are important for both our vision and defining our outer beauty. However, we can’t stop the process of aging that leads to the loss of skin elasticity and weakens the eyelids muscles. The eyelids get heavier and the eyebrows start to descend. What if you have the sagginess happening to your upper and lower eyelids at the same time? Today we will discuss whether you can undergo Upper and Lower blepharoplasty together.

To make it clear, let me explain more about Upper and Lower blepharoplasty.  Upper blepharoplasty is a cosmetic procedure that involves the correction of the redundant eyelid skin and, if necessary, the removal of fat tissue of the upper eyelid. Lower blepharoplasty is a procedure the removes the sagginess and wrinkles, skin redundancy, and fat bulges in the undereye areas.

Cosmetic surgery can be performed on the upper and lower eyelids at the same time. Combining these two operations will give you a more natural and refreshed look. You will get rid of excess skin and fat pads on the upper and lower eyelids. Moreover, you can significantly shorten your recovery period.

As soon as you are discharged after the procedure you should avoid strenuous physical activity and avoid going to a sauna. The sutures will be removed 5 days after the surgery. One important thing to note is that you need to follow the after-surgery instructions to improve and facilitate the healing process.
