How to deal with saggy eyelids?

The eyelid drooping occurs due to the excessive upper lid skin sagginess and the weakness of the muscles that appear with age. As a result, you may experience heaviness and notice skin covering your eyelashes and impairing vision.

This makes you look sleepy and affects your entire facial appearance. Upper blepharoplasty can be a great benefit to your facial appearance. If not treated, the condition may progressively worsen with time.

Upper blepharoplasty is a surgical intervention of removing excess skin and fat tissue within your natural upper eyelid crease. The incision line is close with fine stitches.  With time the incisions will be virtually unnoticeable. The stitches will be removed 5 days after the operation.

Following the Blepharoplasty, you will be given instructions on postoperative care.  On the first and second days, you should place an icepack over your eyelids to reduce bruising and swelling to a minimum. On the third day onwards, you need to apply a warm pack over your eyelids.
