Why wear a compression garment after the liposuction?
In the previous posts, I introduced you to liposuction surgery and post-liposuction instructions. The most important one is regarding the wearing of a compression garment for the best results.
Today, I am going to get down to the nitty-gritty of wearing a compression garment. We encourage our customers to wear a compression garment from 3 to 6 months after the surgery. You may ask why? Well, there are several reasons for that.
Firstly, a compression garment helps reduce swelling after the surgery. Like in many surgeries, there will be potential swelling of tissues in the body. To fight that, there needed some external pressure. That pressure from outside is applied with a compression garment.
Secondly, compression garment minimizes potential bruising. When the blood vessels are injured, the blood enters the tissues that surround them. Then it leads to the appearance of bruises on the surgery area. The constant wearing of a compression garment prevents bleeding and bruises.
Lastly, it helps achieve the desired body contour by supporting the body to better suit a new body shape. Thus, one should not ignore the importance and effectiveness of the compression garment.
As a result, you will a tighter, more attractive, and smoother body shape.
