How to improve saggy eyelids?

One of the main reasons the eyelids start to sag is the looseness of skin. This condition often occurs with age. The level of eyelid sagginess may vary and in some extreme cases, the eyelids may interfere with the ability to see especially when looking upwards because the vision is partly blocked by the hanging skin.  What’s more, it causes inconveniences because a person needs to constantly arch the eyebrows. As s result, this can lead to the appearance of wrinkles on the forehead.

Upper Blepharoplasty is a surgical procedure that involves the removal of extra skin and fat tissue to lift the upper lids. In addition, the doctor can perform Ptosis correction by lifting and strengthening the eyelid muscles. Not only it improves your vision, but it aesthetically looks better.

The operation doesn’t require a long recovery. You will have your eyelids covered with gauze and plaster for 5 days. The stitches will be removed on the 5th-day post-surgery. During the treatment, the nurses and doctor will evaluate your recovery process.

Big swelling may stay for 1-2 weeks depending on individual characteristics. To relieve any pain or swelling issues the doctor will prescribe you medicine.
