Botox for sweating

When the weather gets warmer, especially in the summer, many people start suffering from excessive sweating. There are even some people who sweat much regardless whether the weather is hot or not. In medicine, this condition is called hyperhidrosis, that is when people perspire excessively when it is not hot. To treat it, people are prescribed to use deodorants or antiperspirants, but neither of them can be helpful. Many people might want to know how the Botox injection is applied. It is not a difficult and long procedure which can be performed within 5~10 minutes. The doctor uses a fine needle through which he injects the Botox. To prevent pain, patients can be applied a numbing cream or ice. After the procedure, you can return to work or daily life immediately. 

Botox injections can be followed with such potential side effects as swelling, bruising on the injection site, droopy eyelid (for facial injections), eye dryness and tearing (for facial injections). That is why after procedure, you must not touch, rub the injection area.
